Description
The Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences seeks an adjunct instructor for the spring 2026 semester. This appointment is a non-tenure track faculty appointment which is designated as a part-time temporary position and does not include benefits.
Teaching responsibilities for this appointment will be to teach a section of the NSC 203, Lab in Neurobiology (4 credits). Additional duties will include advising and working with the other course instructors and teaching assistants in connection with the labs as needed. Typically for a 4.0 credit course, the duties require 4 hours of classroom time, 2 hours of preparation and 2 hours of advising students and other instructors. The aforementioned duties are an estimated equivalent of 8 hours per week.
Qualifications
Requires Masters and or equivalent combination of education and experience. The position begins February 1, 2026.
