    $300,000 - $350,000

    Description

    The Division of Solid Organ Transplantation at the University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a board certified / eligible surgeon who has completed an ASTS approved fellowship and is experienced in adult and pediatric liver transplantation, including live donor liver transplantation as well as kidney and live donor kidney transplantation. The successful candidate will join a team of 6 surgeons performing liver, kidney and pancreas transplants as well as hepatobiliary and access surgery.

     

    Prospective candidates should be oriented to pursue either basic or clinical research, and develop a career in academic transplant surgery. The program operates in a multidisciplinary team environment and we are seeking candidates who wish to be part of a collaborative team. Salary and level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications. This growing academic institution offers an excellent opportunity to develop a rewarding practice.

    Qualifications

    Candidates must have completed medical school receiving an MD or equivalent and completed a full surgical training residency program, and ASTS approved fellowship and experienced in adult and pediatric liver transplantation including live donor liver transplantation as well as kidney and live donor kidney transplantation.

     

    Must be eligible for a full NYS medical license
