The Vice President of Remote Video is a senior revenue leader responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing the organization’s remote video sales strategy. This role owns how video is used to drive pipeline, accelerate deal cycles, and deepen customer relationships across inbound, outbound, and account-based sales motions. The VP of Remote Video leads distributed sales teams and partners closely with Marketing, Product, Sales and Customer Ops to create compelling, high-impact video-first selling experiences for prospects and customers
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
+ Define and execute a video-first sales strategy aligned to company revenue goals.
+ Own pipeline generation, forecasting, and revenue performance for remote video sales motions.
+ Drive adoption of video throughout the sales funnel—from prospecting and demos to negotiations and renewals.
+ Optimize sales velocity, win rates, and average deal size through effective use of video.
Team Leadership & Enablement
+ Build, lead, and mentor high-performing remote sales teams.
+ Establish best practices for video-based prospecting, presentations, demos, and closing.
+ Partner with Sales Enablement to develop training, playbooks, and certification for remote video selling.
+ Set performance expectations, KPIs, and compensation plans aligned to video-driven outcomes.
Customer Experience & Engagement
+ Ensure video interactions deliver a premium, personalized, and consultative buying experience.
+ Drive consistency and quality across all customer-facing video communications.
+ Support strategic deals, executive briefings, and high-value customer engagements via video.
Technology & Tools
+ Own the remote video sales tech stack (video platforms, CRM integrations, conversation intelligence, AI tools).
+ Partner with Product, Sales Ops and other functions to ensure seamless workflows and actionable sales insights.
+ Leverage analytics to measure engagement, conversion, and ROI of video sales efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Partner with Marketing to align video messaging, campaigns, and content with sales needs.
+ Collaborate with Product to influence roadmap based on customer feedback from video interactions.
+ Work with Customer Ops to ensure smooth handoffs and expansion opportunities post-sale.
Qualifications
Required
+ 15+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years in sales leadership roles.
+ Proven success driving revenue through remote, distributed, or video-first sales teams.
+ Strong understanding of B2B or B2C sales funnels and buying behavior.
+ Experience implementing and scaling sales technology platforms.
+ Exceptional communication, coaching, and executive presence on video.
Preferred
+ Experience selling media or technology-enabled services.
+ Familiarity with video prospecting tools, virtual demo platforms, and sales AI.
+ Background in high-growth or scaling organizations.
+ Experience managing multi-region sales teams.
