Function
This work-study position is responsible for dissecting specific structures on and in cadavers to ensure efficient instruction and viewing capabilities by anatomy faculty and open lab students. This role is vital to maximizing instructional time during lab.
Organizational Relationship:
+ Responsible to the department head or assigned supervisor for successful performance of assigned duties.

Mental and Physical Requirements:
+ Willing to work with cadavers
+ No allergies to chemicals in the lab
+ No physical impediments to lifting
+ Good dexterity and a good ability to concentrate
+ Good attention to details and must be meticulous in their work
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
+ The individual will be dissecting specific structures on human cadavers.
+ He/She will cleanly expose delicate structures such as nerve, arteries, and veins.
+ He/She will be dissecting every item on the provided list prior to the scheduled lab.
Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
+ Biomedical Waste Training
+ The applicant must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Anatomy/Biology) and previous experience with human dissection.
+ Understanding of FERPA and HIPAA regulations and guidelines
Working Environment and Conditions:
+ Performs assigned duties in a ventilated, lighted, and temperature controlled office environment
