The Product Operations Coordinator is responsible for the end-to-end support of a suite of solutions that align Novant clinical capability with innovative care delivery and value-based reimbursement models. This role ensures products and partnerships operate at the highest level of efficiency while providing remarkable service to customers. The coordinator serves as the primary liaison across internal stakeholders, provider networks, and external vendors and serves as the ambassador for the Novant Health brand. This position requires remarkable customer service and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to think and work independently and general knowledge of healthcare operations.
What You'll Do
Operations : Supports day-to-day operations of a portfolio of payor/purchaser/employer products and innovative strategic partnerships. Supports Products Operations Committee, third-party purchaser Joint Operating Committee(s), and third-party vendor status updates as needed.
Customer Service: Novant Health point of contact for service inquires across product lines. Supports coordination of product participants in partnership with clinic and acute care hospital personnel and third-party vendor(s). Provides support for third-party vendor service recovery efforts and communicates directly with patients, participants, and clients around service inquires and associated resolution. Maintains service recovery documentation and recommends product refinements based on customer feedback. Develops criteria for and appropriately escalates customer service inquiries to Manager where necessary.
Financial: Reviews third-party vendor invoices and processes payment.
Liaison: Coordinates operational activities between third-party vendors, Provider Network and clinical teams, Revenue Cycle Services, Business Development and Sales, purchaser clients, and internal stakeholders.
Provider Network Support : Partners with third-party vendor to coordinate provider rosters and maintain updates. Responds to inquiries related to Provider Manuals or directs appropriately. Coordinates provider data requests for new product implementations.
Collaboration and Communication: Clear, effective, and patient communicator. Supports alignment by answering questions appropriately and facilitating interdepartmental communications. Interacts with team members from other key departments to facilitate communications via web, meetings, print, and video mediums. Creates communication content, including newsletters, one-pagers, presentations, and other deliverables as needed.
Professional Growth and Development: Participates in continuing education opportunities to stay current on payor and purchaser strategic development and operations. Provides recommendations to grow and improve Business Development team performance.
What We're Looking For
+ Education: Bachelors Degree required.
+ Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and/or administrative support required , h ospital or health system experience preferred.
+ Additional Skills (required): Ability to think and work independently. Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and demonstrate strong organizational skills, a professional attitude and team focus. Must be a proficient written and oral communicator. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, employers, third-party vendors, providers, and Novant Health leaders. General working knowledge of healthcare operations. Experience with Word, Excel, and Power Point software.Ability to think and work independently. Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and demonstrate strong organizational skills, a professional attitude and team focus. Must be a proficient written and oral communicator. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, employers, third-party vendors, providers, and Novant Health leaders. General working knowledge of healthcare operations. Experience with Word, Excel, and Power Point software (required) .
+ Additional Skills (preferred): Familiarity with employer benefit plans, alternative reimbursement models, strategic business planning. Basic medical terminology.
