As a **Senior Platform IAC Engineer** , you will be supporting the development and maintenance of our modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution in our environment. These environments, a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.

The **Senior Platform IAC Engineer** will be well versed in maintaining COTS/FOSS products and use of tools such as LDAP, RHEL, Tenable, Consul, Ansible, Terraform to implement and support the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution for our programs.

**Note** This position is based in Aurora CO. and work will be performed at the onsite Facility.

What You Will Do

+ You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of IAC solutions.

+ You will support software tool customization and automation including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs utilizing Ansible Playbooks.

+ You will assist with integration of the selected platform provisioning tool such as Terraform/VMWare.

+ You will assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on premise or virtualized / Cloud based computing environments.

+ You will assist engineers with specialized tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices towards the solution.

Qualifications You Must Have

+ Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and a minimum 5 years of related work experience

+ Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+)

+ Experience with Tenable, Consul, Terraform

+ Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)

+ A current TS/SCI Security Clearance is required, day 1 with the willingness to obtain a CI Poly. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

+ Experience with installing and configuring Kubernetes

+ Experience with application deployments to Kubernetes using Helm

+ Experience with troubleshooting and debugging deployment and software infrastructure issues

+ Experience with Ansible automation frameworks

+ Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks

+ Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)

+ Container development and orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes/Docker)

+ Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)

+ General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization

+ Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration

+ Current CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain within 90 days

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
