At Marriott, Talent Acquisition Operations and Enablement is a critical function driving seamless, efficient, and scalable hiring processes that support Marriott’s global business. This role leads operational excellence, enterprise recruiting process enablement, global scale, and strategic stakeholder partnership to empower Marriott’s global talent acquisition teams. The Director, Talent Acquisition Support Services & Enablement, will own the global strategy, governance, and continuous optimization of TA operations, processes, and workflow enablement to maximize recruiter productivity, accelerate hiring outcomes, and deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. The ideal candidate is a seasoned, strategic TA operations leader with deep expertise in HR technology, large-scale process transformation, global operations, and cross-functional program leadership. This role requires the ability to influence senior stakeholders, set global standards, and drive enterprise-wide adoption of operational excellence practices.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Operations & Process Optimization
+ Oversee and continuously optimize global end-to-end TA operational workflows to drive efficiency, standardization, and operational scalability across all regions.
+ Partner with senior TA, HR, and business leaders to identify systemic challenges and design strategic, future-ready operational solutions.
+ Leverage advanced data, analytics, and insights to proactively identify trends, operational risks, and performance opportunities.
+ Ensure global recruiting practices align with legal, regulatory, and data privacy standards across all markets.
+ Provide oversight of global TA support operations, ensuring quality, accuracy, efficiency, and strong partnership with all teams.
Recruiting Systems & Tools Enablement
+ Drive adoption, optimization, and strategic alignment of TA systems (ATS, CRM, scheduling tools, automations, AI Agents).
+ Partner with HRIS and TA technology teams to ensure systems support end-to-end TA operational strategy and evolving business needs.
+ Evaluate system performance, usage trends, and operational impact to define enhancements, training strategies, and long-term enablement plans.
Talent Acquisition Process Management & Standardization
+ Lead the development, governance, and evolution of global recruiting processes, ensuring consistency across regions, brands, and talent segments.
+ Define and maintain global frameworks, SOPs, process maps, and scalable documentation that enable operational excellence.
+ Oversee implementation of new or enhanced processes to ensure alignment, compliance, and seamless adoption.
Stakeholder Engagement & Issue Resolution
+ Act as the senior escalation point for complex operational challenges, driving swift resolution and root-cause prevention.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with global TA leaders, HR partners, business executives, and cross-functional teams.
+ Lead enterprise-wide communication, change management and training efforts during process or system deployments to drive adoption.
+ Serve as a trusted advisor to global TA leadership, driving operational capability-building and readiness initiatives.
+ Facilitate enterprise-wide collaboration to promote consistency, transparency, and alignment across teams.
Voice of the Candidate & Recruiter
+ Champion the global recruiting, hiring manager, and candidate experience throughout all process, technology, and workflow designs.
+ Conduct user research and insights work to identify emerging needs and prioritize experience-driven enhancements.
+ Ensure cross-functional alignment on candidate experience standards and operational impacts across regions.
Governance & Global Alignment
+ Lead the development and management of a global TA operational and technology roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities.
+ Oversee global governance programs to ensure consistency, compliance, and optimization of TA tools and processes.
+ Define and manage operational KPIs, reporting frameworks, and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Talent Acquisition, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
+ 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition operations, HR operations, or digital transformation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
+ Proven experience leading enterprise-level programs and influencing senior leaders in a complex, matrixed global organization.
+ Deep understanding of TA technology landscapes, including ATS, CRM, automations, AI tools, and analytics platforms.
+ Demonstrated experience leading global teams, with a focus on quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
+ Strong strategic thinking, operational execution, and consultative problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex challenges into scalable solutions.
Clarifying Role Scope
+ Direct recruitment or hiring responsibilities. These remain with regional TA teams.
+ System configuration or technical builds. This is owned by HRIS and IT.
+ First-line support for recruiters or candidates, provided by HR service delivery teams.
