Reporting directly to the CPO, the VP of Product Management-Platform owns the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company's core technical foundation (APIs, integrations, developer tools, AI architecture). This role's primary focus is delivering a sovereign solution that caters to the market dynamics of the modern age: own your data, deploy your data where you need it most, and avoid vendor lock-in. This leader ensures the platform delivers extensibility, consolidated management, and a unified experience for the entire data ecosystem.

Your impact will be:

+ **Platform Vision & Strategy:** Own the strategic vision for the platform lifecycle from vision to adoption & growth. Focusing on delivering a sovereign solution that helps our clients accelerate the building of intelligent solutions.

+ **Data-Driven Growth & Instrumentation** : Implement a rigorous, data-driven approach to product adoption. You will treat instrumentation as a primary growth vehicle, utilizing deep telemetry and usage data to uncover friction points, optimize user journeys, and accelerate platform adoption.

+ **Roadmap Leadership & Consolidation** : Own and guide the platform roadmap, prioritizing capabilities that consolidate management, deployment, and observability of the entire data ecosystem into a seamless, unified experience.

+ **Ecosystem & Marketplace Development** : Collaborate on the strategy for partner integrations and the expansion of a platform marketplace.

+ **Sovereign Solution & Market Dynamics** : Champion a "security-by-design" approach, ensuring the platform enforces zero-trust principles, granular role-based access control (RBAC), and strict sovereign data boundaries to meet global compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP).

+ **Enterprise-Grade Resilience** : Own the roadmap for disaster recovery, business continuity, and immutable backups, ensuring customers trust the platform with their most mission-critical, stateful workloads

+ **Proactive Observability** : Move the platform from reactive monitoring to proactive observability, ensuring the system can predict and self-heal from infrastructure bottlenecks before they impact the customer.

+ **Market & Competitive Intelligence** : Conduct deep market and competitive intelligence on platform and infrastructure trends—specifically focusing on hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and AI—to identify key areas for architectural differentiation.

+ **Team Building & Leadership** : Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-impact platform product management team, fostering strong collaboration with core engineering and AI teams.

What you will bring:

+ **Proven Data Platform Growth:** You have significant experience building and scaling data platform solutions. You understand the unique challenges of scaling stateful infrastructure and have a track record of growing a platform from early adoption to mass scale.

+ **Deep Domain Knowledge (DB, Analytics, AI)** : You possess technical depth in core database technologies, analytics pipelines, and the emerging AI stack. You can speak the language of database engineers and data scientists fluently.

+ **Instrumentation & PLG Mindset** : You are well-versed in Product-Led Growth (PLG) mechanics. You know how to use instrumentation not just for debugging, but as a strategic tool to drive user behavior, retention, and upsell opportunities.

+ **Ecosystem & Partner Integration** : You have a demonstrated history of building platform ecosystems or marketplaces. You know how to architect for extensibility and have successfully managed technical partnerships that expanded a platform's capabilities.

+ **Strategic & Technical Fluency** : You excel at translating complex technical capabilities (such as Kubernetes operators, multi-region replication, or vector search) into clear value propositions for the C-suite and the market.
