Responsibilities
Facilitate and coordinate the development and implementation of revenue cycle programs and strategic goals for the organization.
+ Creates standardized policies and procedures for billing and collection that will comply with state and federal regulations, reduce loss and improve productivity.
+ Assist with researching, designing and developing processes to optimize and improve workflow processes, resulting in reducing accounts receivable (AR) balances and improved communication.
+ Develop and implement auditing and monitoring processes to identify and report trends, balances and issues with accounts receivable.
+ Perform root cause analysis of identified systemic issues related to underperformance of AR and develops processes/action plans for improvement.
+ Develop metrics and metric reporting processes based on ministry or national benchmarks.
+ Collaborate with revenue cycle management and central billing office to set overall revenue cycle goals for the organization.
+ Provide expertise and oversight of system implementation of billing modules including development of tables, training and ongoing table maintenance related to first and/or third party billing.
Requirements
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
