    Theroleofateamleadinforkliftunloadingtruckoperationsinvolvesoverseeingtheteamtoensureefficientandsafeoperations.Teamleadsareresponsiblefor:

     

    + **Trainingandsupervising** junioroperatorstoensuretheyunderstandsafetyprotocolsand properequipmentoperation.

    + **Coordinating** withotherteammemberstoensuresmoothworkflowandcommunication.

    + **Managinginventory** tomaintainaccuraterecordsandensuretimelyreplenishment.

    + **Performingroutineinspections** andmaintenancechecksonforkliftsandotherequipmenttopreventaccidentsandensureoperationalefficiency.

    + **Reportingdiscrepancies** andmaintainingacleanandorganizedworkenvironment.

    + **Ensuringcompliance** withsafetyregulationsandcompanypoliciestomaintainasafeworkingenvironmentforallteammembers.Ateamleadwithexperienceinforkliftoperationsandastrongunderstandingofwarehousemanagementcanleadateamtoachieveoperationalexcellenceandcontributetotheoverallsuccessoftheteamandtheorganization.

    Other duties to include:

    + Operating forklifts to move materials around the facility or worksite

    + Ensuring efficient and safe transportation of materials and products

    + Inspecting forklifts for safety and maintenance needs and reporting any issues or damages

    + Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks

    + Checking loads are secure and properly distributed

    + Stacking empty pallets and reorganizing the storage areas

    + Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the forklifts battery and lubricating equipment

    + Using equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise

    + Always adhering to safety procedures and standards

    + Daily inspection reports
