Director of Operations - St. Joseph's Hospital Summary:

+ Key Responsibilities

+ Assist the President in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of St. Joseph’s Hospital.

+ Align operational activities with the organization’s strategic plan, providing oversight for the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and compassionate care.

+ Provide interim leadership in the absence of the President, ensuring hospital operations run efficiently and meet the needs of patients, physicians, staff, and the community.

+ Directly manage or delegate responsibilities to department leaders to maintain operational excellence.

+ Lead strategic planning and oversee operations across multiple hospital departments, fostering collaboration across disciplines.

+ Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours or outside normal business hours as needed.

+ Responsible for oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, and neurosciences service lines. Required Expertise

+ Proven experience in contracting, negotiating, healthcare strategy, physician recruitment, financial planning, and budgeting.

+ Strong knowledge of Stark Law and compliance requirements.

+ Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and adapt to organizational changes.

+ High emotional intelligence with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.Overall ObjectiveProvide visionary leadership and guidance to ensure St. Joseph’s Hospital delivers exceptional care and operates efficiently in alignment with organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

+ **Required:** 7 years Healthcare Management or

+ 3 years Director Operations at a BayCare Hospital.

+ **Preferred:** 5 years Hospital Director Operations or equivalent.

Education:

**Minimum:** Bachelors Degree

**Preferred:** Masters Degree

**Location:** Tampa, Florida
