The Building Service Attendant is responsible for supporting facility operations and ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment. Duties include event setup, general cleaning, and assisting with deliveries and moves.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Set up and break down equipment for rehearsals, productions, meetings, and classes.
+ Open assigned offices and work areas; report any abnormal conditions to the Building Services Supervisor.
+ Perform general cleaning in non-studio areas, including:
+ Cleaning and refilling water coolers and carafes in executive offices
+ Washing and cleaning walls
+ Assist with packing, bagging, and moving items as needed.
+ Remove garbage and refuse from shops, offices, cafeteria, and other areas to designated disposal locations.
+ Operate passenger and freight elevators as assigned.
+ Provide labor for sidewalk deliveries and make departmental deliveries as required.
+ Clean and service restrooms; perform mopping and other cleaning tasks.
+ Move furniture as needed.
+ Perform manual snow removal (appropriate attire provided by the company).
+ Clean glass surfaces (excluding windows).
+ Maintain cleanliness of the loading dock.
+ Physical requirement: Must be capable of lifting and transporting objects up to 50 pounds.
Additional Qualifications:
+ Weekend and overtime work may be required.
+ 23 years of similar experience preferred.
In addition to the foregoing, Building Service Attendants may be assigned to perform other duties related to the above-described work or duties that have historically fallen within the Union's jurisdiction.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $60,021.52 - 60,021.52.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
