• Medical Assistant

    Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center (Anniston, AL)


    Provides direct patient care as ordered and directed by physician, including administration of medications, performing diagnostic tests, completing referral authorization and instructing patient/client about treatment/work status. Performs drug screens. Maintains organization of clinical areas and restocks inventory as needed. assists with all clinical/clerical tasks as needed to provide service excellence.

     

    Must demonstrate an ability to work effectively with patients in all specialty and subspecialty categories, both urgent and non-urgent in nature.

     

    Associate degree in a medical vocation field: MCCT, LPN, CMA.

     

    Must be certified as a Medical Assistant. BLS required.

     

    Must have a HS diploma or GED.
