Description
This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by directing, planning and implementing an EHS Excellence program while ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and local governmental EHS regulations across multiple locations within a sector of the organization.
Essential Duties and Tasks

+ Responsible for developing, promoting and implementing a proactive, positive safety culture throughout the organization.
+ Collaborates with Executive Leadership, Safety Steering Team, EHS Leaders, and Site Leadership to set EHS Excellence strategies and annual goals (KPIs) for manufacturing sites.
+ Analyzes performance, identifies gaps and opportunities, and sets strategies and policy for year over year improvement and sustainment translating strategy into actionable project plans.
+ Serves as lead auditor for audits of facilities, tracks audit completion, and aids facilities to resolve action items; provides site support and guidance for EHS Compliance Audits
+ Promotes risk management program and evaluations to set priorities for equipment guarding, ergonomics concerns, and other EHS items of concern.
+ Provides management oversight for Worker’s Compensation and Property Insurance policies and monitors high risk claims.
+ Support employee engagement and EHS communications through media sources including Town Halls, educational Webinars, newsletter, and other appropriate resources.
+ Maintains a strong matrix reporting relationship with all site EHS Managers, EHS job share roles, and other EHS subject matter experts.
+ Executes the Corporate EHS standards, programs, policies, procedures, and training plans across their respective sites in order to achieve the annual KPI targets (both leading and lagging indicators).
+ Assist in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and professional development of EHS resources.
+ All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
+ BS required; Master's or Above preferred in a related field.
+ Certifications required/preferred include Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
+ 8-10 years experience in a related field.
+ Proven experience in a managerial capacity including multiple sites and direct reports.
+ Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Outlook email and calendar.
+ Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
+ Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
+ $117,000 - $156,000 depending on education and experience.
