    WSP is currently initiating a search for a **Project Manager** for our Columbia, MD office. Be involved in projects with our **Program Management Team** at **Charles County** and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

     

    Your Impact

    Job Responsibilities

    + Manage design consultants and construction contractor’s projects for water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, water/wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.

    + Coordinate Project designers and construction managers’ activities.

    + Manage capital improvement projects including project schedule, budget, and deliverables.

    + Permit coordination.

    + Provide technical presentations to project teams and other stakeholders.

     

    Who You Are

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field or equivalent experience

    + 7-10 years of experience project/construction management of water treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, pump stations and treatment facilities

    + Strong oral and written skills

    + Familiarity with the practices and principles of Design and Construction

    + Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

    + Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Demonstrated knowledge of water treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, pump stations and treatment facilities systems, construction processes, and project lifecycle management.

    + Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate both countywide programs and specific projects.

    + Data and information systems management experience

    + Experience in a web-based document management system such as e-Builder, Unifier and CM-14

    + Ability to support scheduling for a program of multiple projects, including monitoring costs.

    + EIT with desire to achieve PE.

    + Ability to lead and conduct large meetings and work in a client setting

    Compensation:

    Expected Salary (all locations): $120,500-143,100/year
