Description:
**Status: Full time 40** hours per week
What you will need:
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Formal Medical Assistant training.
+ Current BLS certification.
+ RMA or CMA; current credential or licensure within 3 months of employment.
+ LPN, EMT, Paramedics also considered.
What you will do:
+ Perform patient in-take: vital signs, medical histories, update active medication list, verify information updated in electronic medical record.
+ Perform EKG’s when ordered.
+ Prepare patients for examination.
+ Prepare equipment and rooms for exams and procedures.
+ Draw blood, culture specimen collection, and perform routine urine tests.
+ Complete lab requisitions.
+ Administer medications/vaccines as directed by physician.
