As a **Security Officer - Dispatch Desk** in **Niskayuna, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities. You will communicate with team members, manage incident reports, and help to deter security-related incidents through proactive oversight. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and manage incoming calls and radio communications to coordinate security-related responses within the manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Dispatch Allied Universal personnel to incidents, emergencies, and service calls as required by site-specific procedures.

+ Document and maintain detailed records of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points through security-related systems such as cameras and alarms.

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.

+ Communicate information clearly and calmly during critical situations to support a problem-solving approach.

+ Support Allied Universal team members by relaying information and coordinating resources during security-related incidents.

+ Follow all site-specific policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
