As a **Security Officer - Retail Driving Patrol** in **Mount Laurel, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service, all while embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for employees and visitors.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards encountered during patrols to Allied Universal and/or site management.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and interacting with visitors as needed.

+ Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal protocols.

+ Support emergency response activities, including guiding occupants during evacuations and coordinating with first responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
