Job Description

To greet and seat guests according to Omni Hotels service standards. Promote the hotel services to hotel and local guests enthusiastically.

Host pays $16.00/hour

Full Time Associates at Omni La Mansion Hotel are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

+ Greet and invite Riverwalk patrons to dine in restaurant

+ Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service

+ Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest

+ Answer phone and record reservations in accordance to MOS standards

+ Control high volume outside of restaurant

+ Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and well being of guests

+ Assist servers when needed

+ Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell

+ Assist service operations

+ Must have full familiarity with menus

Qualifications

Qualifications:

+ Be committed to providing exceptional customer service

+ Must have strong verbal and written communication skill

+ Prior host experience preferred

+ Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance

+ Must be able to work in various conditions, outside exposed to elements

+ Flexible Scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays

+ Must have alcohol training certification (TABC) and food handlers training certification
