Job Title: Medical Device Assembler on the Swing shift
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Assembly Technician to join our team, specializing in catheter assembly. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and precision of our medical devices through meticulous assembly processes.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble catheters using small hand tools such as tweezers and razors.
+ Primarily working under a microscope for 8+ hours per day.
+ Adhere to all Quality Policies and Systems, maintaining accurate records such as Lot History Records (LHR) and following GMP/GDP policies.
+ Process small parts under a microscope, consistently meeting or exceeding the average cycle time and quality standard of 400 units a week.
+ Maintain professional work relationships with team members and cross-functional groups.
+ Flex and rotate to other stations as necessary, understanding and following safety policies and practices.
+ Escalate any issues related to product quality or workplace safety.
+ Follow and adhere to 5S principles and goals.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in catheter medical device assembly or medical device packaging.
+ Proficiency in working with microscopes and small parts, such as catheter tubes or stents.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for completing LHRs and communicating with regulatory bodies.
+ High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical field.
+ Ability to work in a Controlled Environment Room with clean room experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with gowning before entering the clean room.
+ Good hand-eye coordination.
+ Reading, writing, math, and inventory control skills.
+ Polymer and/or tip forming experience is a plus.
+ Experience with GMP, GDP, MPI, and 5S principles, along with audit knowledge.

Work Environment
Work in a medical device and FDA-regulated clean room environment.
Shift:
Swing shift from 2:30 PM to 11:15 PM with OT
Pay:
$21-24 +10% differential

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clara, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.40/hr.
