Job Description
We specialize in building products tailored for the fertilizer industry, including blenders/mixers, bucket elevators, conveyors, and rotary drums. The role involves diagnosing, adjusting, and repairing fertilizer equipment, such as drag conveyors, elevator legs, blenders, and valves, for local cooperatives and occasionally on farmland.
Responsibilities
+ Adjust and maintain equipment as necessary.
+ Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose issues.
+ Examine equipment for damage or excessive wear.
+ Repair and troubleshoot air systems.
+ Perform MIG welding on broken parts.
+ Test equipment to ensure proper operation.
+ Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine maintenance on equipment.
+ Log and maintain equipment service records.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Welding experience and strong mechanical skills.
+ Ability to travel a minimum of 60%, which varies seasonally.
+ Capability to work at customer's locations, operating a company vehicle while maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to all DOT regulations, including passing a DOT physical and drug testing.
+ Comfortable working at heights and ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
+ Capability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
+ Specific vision abilities, including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Ability to reach with hands and arms and perform actions such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Work Environment
This role requires traveling 50%-75% of the time, using a company vehicle for transportation. All travel expenses are charged to personal credit cards and reimbursed 100%. The noise level is typically moderate.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
