Job Title:** **Sr.** **HVAC Technician

Job Description

Perform HVAC/R service and maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance, safety, and operational efficiency across facilities. Apply current HVAC/R knowledge to improve action plans and guide others. Complete service tasks using company policies, data, and collaboration. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems, EMS, and digital controls. Conduct preventive maintenance and manage workloads with external providers.

Responsibilities

+ Perform HVAC/R service and maintenance tasks ensuring compliance and safety.

+ Apply HVAC/R knowledge to improve action plans and guide others.

+ Complete service tasks using company policies and collaboration.

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems, EMS, and digital controls.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance and manage workloads with external providers.

Essential Skills

+ 3 years of experience in HVAC, service, mechanical, field service, or maintenance.

+ HVAC/R, PM, and troubleshooting expertise.

+ Experience in documenting, electrical work, customer service, installation, and preventive maintenance.

+ Ability to track refrigerant levels and parts usage.

+ Valid driver's license and clean record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or a construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls OR 4 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or a construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.

+ Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.

Work Environment

This service technician role involves traveling from location to location, primarily retail and distribution locations. A service van and tools will be provided. The role includes moving through narrow spaces, over uneven or slippery surfaces, and working in varying temperatures. Work may involve exposure to extreme conditions and require working at heights or overnight shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Providence, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $135000.00/yr.

Benefits will be provided to the candidate once the pass the phone screen and are being more seriously considered for the role

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Providence,RI.
