    Job Title: Carpenter** **Job Description

     

    Join as a commercial carpenter, where your primary responsibility will be to create structures out of wood. You will play a crucial role in constructing building frames and using hand and power tools to install cabinets and other small-scale wooden structures.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform rough framing, install sheathing, and erect scaffolding.

    + Install cabinets, trim, doors, and windows.

    + Assist in remodeling existing structures.

    + Create unique fixtures or supports.

    + Design and build exhibits for museums.

    + Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work environment.

    + Collaborate with other trades and communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.

    Essential Skills

    + Construction

    + Carpentry

    + Finish carpentry

    + Framing

    + Commercial Construction Experience

    + Experience with hand and power tools

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum of 6 months of carpentry experience.

    + Minimum of 6 months of experience with hand and power tools.

    + 5+ years of on-the-job experience is a plus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wausau, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
