Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent General Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. The role involves performing general production and assembly duties, setting up machines, and managing the loading and unloading of materials to meet production targets. This position requires a keen eye for detail to visually inspect parts for defects and conduct quality checks. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing paperwork and maintaining daily logs of production numbers and orders, while adhering to all safety protocols and precautions.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general production and assembly duties in a manufacturing environment.

+ Set up machines for operation and manage the loading and unloading of materials.

+ Visually inspect parts for defects and conduct quality checks.

+ Complete paperwork and maintain daily logs of production numbers and orders.

+ Follow all safety protocols and precautions.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, general labor, or assembly work.

+ Proficiency in machine operation.

+ Ability to use a tape measure accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Any experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Education and/or certifications related to the manufacturing industry are a bonus.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, requiring the wearing of steel-toed boots and safety glasses. Openings are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.89 - $20.89/hr.
