Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our small and dynamic engineering team. You will play a crucial role in the development of mechanical systems and components for various applications, focusing on rapid prototyping and design for manufacturing. Responsibilities

+ Develop models from concept design and design mounts and enclosures for electronics, considering g-shock and vibration.

+ Create 3D parts for proof of concept and machine the part for final application.

+ Work on missile airframe design and design for manufacturability.

+ Oversee the mechanical design team eventually while contributing to ongoing projects.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.

+ Proficiency in mechanical design and engineering management.

+ Experience with rapid prototyping and design for manufacturing.

+ Familiarity with DOD requirements and missile airframe design.

+ Proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with R&D and prototyping.

+ Ability to design machined parts.

+ Nice to have experience in overseeing mechanical design teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Niceville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
