    Job Title: Test Engineer

    Job Description

    This role involves bench testing the analog and mixed-signal portion of the IC products. The Test Engineer will be responsible for executing bench verification test plans and writing scripts to communicate with the device-under-test (DUT). Additionally, the role includes building and maintaining automated bench test setups using scripting to control equipment such as power supplies, function generators, oscilloscopes, and more.

    Responsibilities

    + Execute bench verification test plans for analog and mixed-signal IC products.

    + Write and develop scripts to facilitate communication with the device-under-test (DUT).

    + Build and maintain automated bench test setups.

    + Control and manage equipment such as power supplies, function generators, and oscilloscopes.

    + Perform debugging and optimization of test scripts and setups.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in test scripting and debugging.

    + Experience with circuit boards and Python scripting.

    + Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (IC) and semiconductors.

    + Experience with bench testing equipment like function generators, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.

    + Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in programming for electronic equipment or similar scripting languages.

    + Knowledge of semiconductor bench testing and verification.

    + Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal functions such as comparators, DACs, low-pass filters, oscillators/PLLs, and LDOs.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
