Civil Engineer – Residential Land Development
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to take a leadership role in preparing high-quality construction drawings for single-family residential developments. This position offers the opportunity to guide a talented design team, collaborate with municipal agencies, and deliver exceptional results using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee the production of construction plans for paving, grading, storm drainage, detention, water, and wastewater systems.
+ Mentor and supervise design team members while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
+ Create and refine 3D surfaces using survey data, alignments, and profiles to ensure design accuracy.
+ Work closely with internal teams and municipal staff to facilitate reviews and secure permits.
+ Maintain organized design files for seamless collaboration across all stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
+ Minimum 3 years in civil design, specifically in private single-family residential developments within the DFW area.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
+ Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas or ability to obtain licensure within one year.
+ Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
