    I'm currently hiring for SDET Position in Plano, TX! Responsibilities

     

    + Write, execute, and maintain end-to-end system integration scenarios and user acceptance tests for a large-scale platform.

    + Translate user stories into test scenarios and test cases, providing feedback to ensure all stories are testable.

    + Collaborate with other business groups and external teams to support end-to-end integration.

    + Partner with developers to create, maintain, and execute automated unit and integration tests.

    + Work with DevOps to embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

    + Collaborate with Product Owners and users to execute user testing.

    + Own delivery of work from start to finish—from concept to code to production.

    + Develop tools and libraries that support rapid and scalable future development.

    What You Bring

    + Demonstrated intelligence and problem‑solving ability.

    + 3+ years of experience developing and testing software.

    + 3+ years of hands‑on experience creating and maintaining test automation and supporting infrastructure.

    + Proficiency in Java.

    + Experience testing serverless architectures and working with AWS or another public cloud.

    + Strong experience solving real‑life problems using TestNG or JUnit.

    + High fluency in maintaining and working with API test suites.

    + Experience setting up test pipelines in CI/CD tools.

    + Experience testing complex data pipelines across multiple components.

    + Experience with estimation, prioritization, and planning/coordination of testing activities in a Scrum environment.

    + Experience using tools such as Jira or qTest to track work and ensure traceability across test cases, code, and requirements.

    + Ability to practice empathy when working with team members and stakeholders.

    + Willingness to perform manual testing when needed, with a strong bias toward automating efficiently.

    + Ability to manage ambiguity and work independently with limited direction, including managing dependencies with partners and suppliers.

    + Confidence in expressing informed opinions while remaining receptive to feedback and open to adjusting plans.

    + A Computer Science degree is valuable, but equivalent experience and demonstrated talent are equally respected.

    Nice to Have

    + Experience validating or delivering connected car services.

    + Experience with Python or Spark.

    + Experience solving real-life problems using Selenium.

    + Experience with behavior‑driven development (BDD) and test‑driven methodologies.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
