    Job Title: Construction Materials Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Construction Materials Technician who can work independently on various projects in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting soil and concrete samples and conducting strength tests. This role requires flexibility to work on field assignments as well as perform testing in the office.

    Responsibilities

    + Collect soil and concrete samples from project sites.

    + Perform strength tests on collected samples.

    + Work independently on field assignments.

    + Conduct in-office testing as required.

    + Utilize nuclear gauge for soil density and compaction tests.

    + Prepare detailed reports on testing results.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in concrete and soil testing.

    + Experience with nuclear gauge and soil density testing.

    + Ability to conduct concrete strength tests.

    + Report writing skills.

    + 2+ years of experience as a Construction Materials Technician.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + ACI Field Grade 1 Certification preferred.

    + ACI Strength Grade 1 Certification preferred.

    + Nuclear Gauge certification preferred.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
