Description
Key Responsibilities: Monitor and improve quality performance (scrap, PPM, cost of poor quality). Lead weekly quality meetings with plant leadership. Act as primary contact for customers and suppliers on quality issues. Manage corrective actions: containment, root cause analysis, and countermeasure implementation. Support Quality Management System activities: - APQP / PPAP documentation and submissions. - Engineering change updates. - Maintain controlled documents (control plans, PFMEA, process flows, work instructions). Oversee calibration, MSA studies, and non-conforming material disposition. Track and report quality metrics weekly/monthly. Supervise sorting area and allocate resources. Assist with part setup on vision systems or CMM.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications: BS in Engineering or Technical field preferred. Minimum 2 years in Quality Assurance (Automotive industry experience required). Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools: PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA. Problem-solving skills and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing. Understanding of metalworking processes. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects. Strong communication and technical skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00/hr.
