Job Title: Superintendent, Special Projects TeamJob Description

Join a dynamic and growing team specializing in high-level healthcare construction projects in Winchester, VA. This role is part of the Special Projects Team that focuses exclusively on projects within the Winchester market. With a rich history spanning over 125 years, the team offers stability and the opportunity to work on impactful K-12 and healthcare projects.

Responsibilities

+ Pre-qualify subcontractors and conduct subcontractor visits.

+ Supervise 5-10 staff members across multiple projects.

+ Manage all field personnel, providing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.

+ Develop daily schedules for project activities and handle any issues that arise on the job site.

+ Manage RFIs and submittals.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of ground-up or interiors Superintendent experience within commercial/healthcare construction.

+ Experience managing projects valued at $20 million or more.

+ Must be commutable to Winchester, VA.

+ Certifications in OSHA30, First Aid, and CPR.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in commercial, healthcare, education, K-12, schools, higher education, and senior living construction.

Work Environment

The position is on-site in Winchester, VA and NOVA, focusing on healthcare construction projects. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and various weather conditions. Employees may encounter wet or humid conditions, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, extreme temperatures, electrical risks, radiation, and vibration. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.00/hr.
