    Job Title: Senior Project Manager - NuclearJob Description

     

    We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the nuclear sector to manage complex projects and plant modifications, including those involving safety-related systems. This role involves strategic planning to optimize resource use and personally managing projects with budgets up to $1,000,000. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in nuclear project management, with significant leadership experience.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and oversee complex nuclear projects and plant modifications, ensuring adherence to safety standards.

    + Develop strategic plans to optimize the use of resources for project execution.

    + Authorize and control project budgets up to $1,000,000.

    + Coordinate with various departments to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines.

    + Lead a team of professionals to achieve project goals effectively and efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 10 years of experience in the nuclear industry.

    + At least 7 years in a leadership role within project management.

    + Experience in project management, nuclear engineering, construction, and electrical systems.

    + Proficiency in managing nuclear projects, including construction management and mechanical engineering.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Graduate or GED required.

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

    + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

    + Experience with estimating systems.

    + Nuclear experience of at least 5 years preferred.

    + Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering is highly desirable.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a professional setting focused on nuclear and potentially fossil industry projects. The candidate will work with a team of experts in a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced technologies and systems to manage complex projects. Standard office attire is expected.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Palo, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $100.00/hr.
