Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager with proven experience leading large-scale manufacturing initiatives. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, visibility, and transparency across cross-functional teams while delivering measurable improvements in production efficiency. The initial assignment is a six-month project with the goal of setting up five stations for single-piece flow to reduce the production time of surgical forceps by half.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage large-scale manufacturing projects with a focus on operational excellence.
+ Drive cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives with transparency and accountability.
+ Implement single-piece flow or lean manufacturing principles to improve production efficiency.
+ Utilize Microsoft Project Suite for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
+ Present project updates to executive leadership and facilitate effective cross-functional meetings.
+ Ensure stakeholder visibility and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Manage project cycles with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
Essential Skills
+ Extensive project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
+ Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Project Suite.
+ Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate cross-functional teams.
+ Excellent communication abilities for presentations and discussions.
+ Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles.
+ Demonstrated success in maintaining project visibility and transparency.
+ Ability to manage six-month project cycles with measurable outcomes.
+ Knowledge of medical device manufacturing or regulated industries (FDA, ISO standards).
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or a related field.
+ PMP certification preferred.
+ Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in medical device manufacturing or other highly regulated industries.
+ Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
+ Strong background in change management.
+ Experience in implementing single-piece flow systems or other lean methodologies at scale.
+ Ability to analyze and present complex data to executive leadership.
Work Environment
The position is based at a new manufacturing center in Fenton, MO. The Project Manager will be the primary contact and work closely with a Drafter/Industrial Engineer and outside consulting resources. The role involves direct collaboration with team members and stakeholders to drive project success.

This is a Contract position based out of Fenton, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
