As a Data Center Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in one of the most ambitious infrastructure initiatives in the country: building the largest data center in the United States. Position Details:
+ Location: Rosemount, MN 55068
+ Mon-Friday 6:00am-3:30pm (flexible to after hours and weekends as needed)
+ Contract estimated through November 2026, possible extension/hire
+ Exempt Salaried (broken down hourly for invoicing purposes only)
Requirements:
+ Must be proficient and well-practiced in leveraging information and data in making informed decisions.
+ Extensive knowledge of Safety protocols, processes and procedures.
+ Deep understanding of industry specific estimating and engineering best practices.
+ Ability to identify change events and implement change management best practices.
+ Knowledge of various construction technology platforms, quality, and safety standards.
+ Solid understanding of construction accounting principles and cost forecasting.
+ Able to report and read out project information to all stakeholders as needed or required.
+ Ability to develop and manage project schedules.
+ Demonstrated professionalism and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
+ Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
+ Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills, including excellent customer service skills.
+ Ability to effectively present to small and large groups.
+ Disciplined, detail oriented, organized, and self-driven.
+ Demonstrated skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
+ Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems, conflicts, and issues.
+ Proficient in using a computer and business / industry applications - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.), Bluebeam, Procore, Textura and others.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree Construction Management, Engineering or other related discipline. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry in management or leadership role. Experience overseeing and managing large structured cabling projects and/or data center construction projects highly preferred.
+ Experienced in managing all contracting and project delivery methods - lump sum / fixed price, cost plus, GMP, unit price / rate, design-build, time and material.
+ Preferred professional certifications:
+ OSHA-30 Hour certification (if not certified at time of hire, certifications must be obtained within first six (6) months of employment)
+ BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
+ BICSI Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM)
+ PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
