Summary This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, CMMI, Executive Operations Staff. As a Supervisory Management Analyst, GS-0343-15, you will serve as the Group Director and will provide leadership in the operational review, talent management, and administration of key program policies and procedures that ensure efficient and effective Center operations. Responsibilities Direct the work of management and program analysts, administrative officers, and training specialists. Represent and/or serves as a resource for the Center Deputy Directors in discussions with officials in other CMS components and other Federal agencies. Oversee a full range of human capital management activities including; recruitment planning, classification, performance management, organizational changes, and other related sensitive personnel issues. Oversee the administration of space planning analysis and studies on behalf of the Center, ensuring the most efficient and effective use of the Center's work space. Advises all levels of senior management within the Center on major issues and program concerns pertaining to business operations. In order to qualify for the GS-15, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: 1. Analyzing the effectiveness (e.g., efficiency, productivity) of business operations (administrative) or technical programs; 2. Directing or leading work related to human resource management, communications management, organization project tracking or correspondence control; 3. Preparing project papers and staff reports; AND 4. Organizing and delivering technical briefings to managers. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
