    (Job Description)

    A large Aerospace company located in Tukwila, WA is currently hiring for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is responsible for verifying, inputting, and maintaining payments and records of invoices, purchase orders, travel expense reports, utility expenses, and accounts payable files. This position also supports other accounting tasks as needed.

    Base Pay - $24/hr. - $34/hr. (Depending on overall qualifications, experiences, tenure, industry, etc.)

     

    Location - Tukwila, WA (100% Onsite)

     

    Schedule - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST; Monday - Friday (40 Hours a Week)

     

    6-Month Contract-To-Hire

    (Responsibilities)

    + Matching up invoices and purchase orders, data entry, issuing checks to vendors in a timely manner, filing, and communicating with vendors.

    + Working with Buyers and other employees to verify purchases.

    + Updating spreadsheets with regard to utility expenses, subscriptions, travel expenditures, and trade shows.

    + Able to organize information so it will be valuable to users.

    + Reconcile bank statements.

    + Reviewing and auditing company expense reports, including outside regional managers. Working with expense reporting software.

    + Responsible for reconciliation of company Visa Card purchases, updating USE TAX SHEET for excise tax reporting, and monthly deposits for miscellaneous accounts.

    + Capitalizing and maintaining fixed assets.

    + Responsible for maintaining tax-exempt certificates.

    (Qualifications)

    + 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable (including full-cycle AP processing).

    + Financial systems proficiency (ERP systems and Advanced Excel).

    + Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls (accounting principles and tax regulations).

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to learn.

    + Office experience, including 10-key, typing, data entry, and customer relations.

    + Strong computer knowledge, including a high level of skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data validation, etc.)

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.
