    Job Description

    A Privately owned, family-oriented company seeks a Bridge Rate Engineer for a full-time permanent position in Brighton, MA.

    Responsibilities of Bridge Inspector Team Lead include:

    Complete inspections on bridges and load ratings

     

    Prepare detailed notes, calculations and reports

     

    Design bridges for new construction as well as rehabilitation and replacements projects

     

    Develop constructions plans while coordinating with CAD designers

     

    Prepare cost estimates, specifications, proposals and work hour estimates

     

    provide recommendations for improvements or maintenance needed for condition of structures

     

    determine which structures need corrective action

     

    Complete other related tasks as assigned

     

    Requirements of Bridge Rate Engineer

     

    Minimum Bachelor s degree or equivalent in civil/structural engineering

     

    Licensed professional engineer preferred

     

    NBIS qualified Team Leader with structural design experience

     

    Completed one or more NHI courses; Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (130055), Bridge Inspection Refresher Training (130053), Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges (130078), Tunnel Safety Inspection (130110), Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures (130087)

     

    Good Communications skills

     

    Able to work independently or in team setting

     

    Superior attention to detail

     

    Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm

     

    Pay Rate: $85, 000-$113, 000/year
