    Description

    The Product Owner is responsible for leading a product or set of product features through road mapping, design, and development phases of product lifecycle in support of organizational objectives. The Product Owner is responsible for a complex product domain or multiple smaller product domains and partners with Product Managers to create the product roadmap to deliver product value. The Product Owner is responsible for the internal, day-to-day management of the product line and for defining product needs in a release through epics and features in alignment with product strategy. This role works closely with product stakeholders to develop specifications for consumption by the development teams and clearly communicates the product vision, roadmap, and customer value to all necessary technical teams. This role identifies and facilitates the implementation of best practices for the product owner role. To request a reasonable accommodation, notify Human Resources or the manager who oversees the position. • Work in partnership with Product Manager to draft, manage and maintain a roadmap based upon product and release strategy • Responsible for creating and facilitating feature requirements, user stories and user interface design changes when working with technical teams to ensure readiness for development • Gather input from Product Manager and key stakeholders in order to refine, prioritize, and maintain product backlog. • Ensure solutions meet the product requirements and enables the overall product health • Participate in sprint demonstrations, gather feedback from stakeholders, and approve or reject sprint deliverables • Partner with Product Manager to provide input on timing and readiness of planned production releases • Coordinate and assist with beta process and resolution of product release issues across stakeholders and with development team • Identify and manage risks at the release and iteration level in partnership with team managers • Participate in (and in some cases lead) daily stand-ups, refinement, story review, sprint planning, and retrospectives • Provide customer production issue escalation assistance and oversight to ensure resolution • Ensure that training content is created and delivered for new product functionality • For products under scope of regulatory quality management, assist with quality related tasks and complete quality training as required • Identify and facilitate (and in some cases lead) cross-functional product process initiatives to implement best practices

    1)Agile Product Ownership & Backlog Management Proven experience leading product delivery: writing epics/user stories with clear acceptance criteria, prioritizing the backlog, and driving sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives)., 2) Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership Ability to partner with Product Managers and collaborate across UX, engineering, QA, training, and customer support—collecting inputs, aligning on roadmap/strategy, and approving sprint deliverables., 3)Roadmapping & Release Readiness Experience building/maintaining roadmaps, assessing timing and readiness for releases, coordinating beta activities, and managing risks/issues at the release/iteration level., Tools: Jira or Azure DevOps (Boards), Confluence, and product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude). UI/UX Collaboration: Comfort working with designers on UI changes and UX planning. Customer Escalation Oversight: Experience guiding resolution of production issues and closing feedback loops. Regulatory/Quality Management Exposure: Familiarity with QMS workflows, documentation, and required training for regulated products. Training Enablement: Ensuring training content is created for new features and coordinating delivery. Risk Management: Identifying and tracking risks/dependencies across releases and iterations. Mentorship: Ability to mentor junior Product Owners and lead process improvements. Beta/Release Coordination: Running beta programs and triaging release issues. Data-Driven Decision Making: Using metrics to validate outcomes and measure product health. Domain Expertise: Experience in the product’s domain (industry-specific is a plus).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
