Position Summary
+ We are seeking a Customer Care Advocate to join our team in Temple, TX. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to members by answering inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring accurate information is communicated regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
Essential Functions
+ Communicate plan policies, procedures, and services to members under general supervision.
+ Serve as the primary contact for benefits, premium payments, and simple enrollment inquiries, ensuring first-contact resolution.
+ Verify and update member demographic information in the system.
+ Access appropriate sources to provide accurate benefit information.
+ Document all interactions in phone logs according to department standards.
+ Assist members with concerns and work toward resolution before escalation.
+ Meet performance metrics, including:
+ Call Handling: 80% of calls answered within 30 seconds.
+ Call Abandonment: Less than 5%, with average hold time under 2 minutes.
+ Quality Goal: 92% or greater within 60 days of employment.
+ Schedule Adherence: Based on department policy.
Key Success Factors
+ Successful completion of Customer Service training and proficiency testing.
+ Strong spelling, grammar, and basic computer skills (tested during interview).
+ Proficient typing and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent phone etiquette and effective verbal/written communication skills.
+ Ability to problem-solve and act as an advocate for the customer.
+ Familiarity with policies, procedures, and new products offered by Marketing.
+ Knowledgeable in public relations with a diverse customer base.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temple, TX 76502.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
