Overview
Microsoft AI is driving the next wave of innovation across Copilot, Bing, Edge, MSN, and other AI first experiences. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to invent the future of the Web as part of the Microsoft Edge web platform team. Our mission is to steward the web platform by delivering new capabilities, improvements, and innovations that equip the Web to thrive amid a rapidly changing technology landscape. In Edge, we are innovating to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by emerging foundational technologies like artificial intelligence, new monetization paradigms, novel hardware and interaction paradigms, and the continuous need to raise the bar for end user experience including performance, accessibility, and privacy.
As a Web Platform Product Manager, you will work to identify and deliver solutions for the unmet needs of our customers, including web developers, publishers, and end users across platforms, browsers, and operating systems. You will build deep familiarity with the needs of developers, from platform primitives to developer frameworks and tools. You will think deeply about how artificial intelligence can enable novel solutions and accelerate the delivery of new experiences for developers and end users. You will critically evaluate how new capabilities affect the quality of the user experience, fundamental expectations around performance, privacy and accessibility, and the ecosystem of publishers, advertisers, and creators across the Web. You will work with industry groups like the Chromium project, and standards bodies like the W3C, to socialize and iterate on innovate proposals on behalf of the Web community. This opportunity will empower you to deliver meaningful impact for tens of millions of developers and billions of Web users, and to enable a thriving Web for the next era of computing.
