    Overview

     

    We are looking for a **Principal Group Product Manager** to drive the Copilot Offline Evaluation Platform, which is a critical component of Microsoft’s broader Copilot Evaluation ecosystem, designed to rigorously assess the quality and reliability of Copilot experiences before they reach production. It enables teams to run-controlled evaluations using synthetic or curated datasets across non-production tenants, simulating real-world scenarios to validate feature performance, detect regressions, and establish quality baselines.

    Responsibilities

    + Define the strategic roadmap for our platform initiatives, aligning them with the overall business and product goals.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize key platform features and enhancements

    + Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables, and ensure they are effectively communicated to the team members and stakeholders.

    + Drive the execution of multiple complex projects simultaneously, while ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

    + Work closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to define technical requirements and ensure alignment between platform capabilities and business needs.

    + Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, addressing their concerns, providing regular updates, and managing expectations.

    + Demonstrate deep technical knowledge and understanding of the platform, algorithms, and infrastructure needed for the product.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 3+ years people management experience.

    + 6+ years of shipping large scale enterprise software products

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 5+ years of people management experience, with demonstrated ability to directly manage a team of PMs and Lead PMs to achieve results, strategic thinking and grow careers.

    + 8+ years of experience driving the product lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring high standards of quality, security, and efficiency. Defining product specifications and managing deliverables for successful execution.

    + 3+ years of experience leveraging AI-powered research synthesis and market intelligence to inform product strategy and decision-making. Utilizing AI-powered insights (e.g., customer patterns, market shifts) and competitive analysis to create products that meet market needs and customer expectations. Identifying the right metrics to evaluate product efficacy.

    + Integrating AI to transform product management by building and leveraging AI agents, enabling effective creation, troubleshooting, and enhancement of models

    + Leading and inspiring cross-functional teams to accomplish shared goals.

    + Navigating complex group dynamics to foster cooperation and drive project success.

     

    Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
