    Job Description

    The Catering Service Worker Lead is responsible for supervision and support in planning catering events of varying sizes and levels in both central and satellite locations. Ensures that all catering brand standards and initiatives are consistently achieved.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Assist in establishing and enforcement of safe practices amongst the staff while tasks are being performed.

    + Lead and delegate tasks during events to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

    + Deliver exceptional guest experiences through professional, courteous service.

    + Collaborate with management and team to achieve goals and resolve challenges.

    + Maintain high standards in food presentation, table setup, and overall service quality.

    + Oversee event setup, breakdown, and proper storage of catering equipment.

    + Ensure side work completion and keep team members on task.

    + Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently under strict timelines.

    + Participates in all catering training programs; helps to develop and implement training programs for hourly employees.

    + Uphold Aramark policies, report infractions, and foster an inclusive work culture.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum of two years operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting required.

    + Strong organizational, communication, and emotional intelligence skills.

    + Maintain emotional control and ability to lead under stress.

    + Ability to resolve interpersonal situations

    + Must be able to follow instructions, read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

     

    This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
