Role Summary: The material handler will be responsible for inventory within the facility. This involves receiving/ shipping material, distribution of material throughout the facility, and managing inventory discrepancies.
Essential Responsibilities
+ Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock, recording location of inventory
+ Maintains accuracy in recording material transactions, such as receiving
+ Prepares finished stock for shipment by packing/ crating/ securing material
+ Supports the production floor by moving material
+ Supports and performs work in compliance to all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies, and regulations
+ Processes components in compliance with internal processing requirements
Minimum Qualifications
+ High School Diploma/ GED
+ Detail oriented, organizational skills
+ Knowledge of EHS procedures and policies
+ Ability to use manual equipment and hand tools safely
+ Understanding of manufacturing and quality procedures in a lean manufacturing environment
+ Basic computer understanding and data entry skills
Preferred Qualifications
+ Associate’s Degree, or equivalent Technical School certification
+ Expertise with various fork trucks
+ Prior computer skills in Microsoft suite
+ Proficy experience
+ Oracle experience
Starting rate for this role is $22.50/hr, plus a $1/hr differential for working Third Shift...
