    Job Title: Assistant Session Monitor

     

    Type: Ad-hoc Contract

     

    Compensation: $40 - $70 hourly - flexible depending on years of experience

     

    Contractor Work Model: Onsite

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    Travel: All expenses covered (including travel and hotels for overnight stays)

     

    Role Overview

     

    Support the Session Monitor / Lead Psychiatrist during psychedelic dosing sessions at Paradigm Clinical Research’s new site in Redding, CA. This role involves direct patient interaction and plays a critical part in maintaining participant safety and protocol compliance throughout the study. Responsibilities

     

    + Assist with participant preparation and dosing session support

    + Monitor participants during sessions and provide therapeutic assistance as needed

    + Help maintain a calm, supportive environment during dosing and integration phases

    + Participate in training and credentialing activities

    + Ensure adherence to study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards

    + Document observations and assist with data collection as required

    Qualifications

    + Licensed mental health professional (psychologist, social worker, psychiatrist, LMHC, LCP)

    + OR Bachelor’s degree plus at least 1 year of psychotherapy experience

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    + Comfortable with direct patient interaction in a clinical research setting

    + Psychedelic experience preferred but not mandatory
