The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

     

    As an Insights Program Manager supporting the Talent Solutions business, you will leverage one of the richest proprietary data sets in the world. You will work with a high‑caliber, passionate team to lead high‑impact projects and scale data‑driven insights that enable our sales teams to unlock customer value. In this role, you will take our existing tools, dive deep on how we can automate, optimize, and improve them further, resolve end‑user challenges, and ensure that our internal tools are used effectively and reliably.

    Responsibilities:

    + Use LinkedIn’s proprietary data to shape and enhance insights-driven tools that help address key business challenges and support sales outcomes.

    + Develop, refine, and perform‑tune SQL/Presto/Spark logic to extract, validate, and prepare large datasets, and use Tableau or similar tools to deliver intuitive visualizations.

    + Upgrade and expand on existing dashboards and queries, improving their consistency, speed, and reliability while integrating automated checks to surface issues proactively.

    + Triage and resolve complex user issues, ensuring internal stakeholders experience stable, high‑quality tools and quick turnaround on challenges.

    + Explore new internal data technologies and frameworks (including PySpark and Scala) to evaluate their applicability and present recommendations to the broader team.

    + Drive coordination across cross‑functional partners to streamline operations, advocate for necessary improvements, and support the rollout of enhancements.

    + Champion data‑informed decision‑making within sales, communicating insights effectively and elevating customer perspectives to influence tool and process evolution.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + BA/BS degree

    + 3+ years of experience with data analysis, data storytelling, turning data into insights, and presenting to internal or external stakeholders

    + 3+ years working with SQL and data visualization tools to query large datasets (e.g., Presto, Hive, Spark SQL, Tableau)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with product analytics, data engineering, sales analytics, and/or data science

    + Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences

    + Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without authority

    + Experience with project management and managing complex, multi‑workstream programs

    + Strong business acumen, creative problem‑solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and ability to learn

    + Expert knowledge of SQL and enthusiasm for optimizing/tuning queries that join datasets with billions of rows

    + Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem (Presto/Spark), Git, and Tableau

    + Nice to have: experience with Scala and PySpark for large‑scale data processing and pipeline development

    + Excellent communication, teamwork, collaboration, and analytical skills

    + Ability to provide a business lens to analytical and technical problems and translate user feedback into tool requirements

    + Deep interest in the value LinkedIn creates for members and companies, and excitement about using its data to solve business problems

    LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $105,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
