We are looking for a Senior Oracle Exadata Engineer with deep expertise in Exadata infrastructure and architecture to lead a large-scale consolidation and modernization initiative. This is a strategic engineering role, not a DBA position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, architecting, and implementing Exadata solutions, including networking, storage, virtualization (KVM), ZDLRA, and ZFS appliances.

In this role, you will:

+ Architect and design Exadata consolidation strategies for multiple environments.

+ Lead modernization initiatives, including virtualization using KVM and integration with ZDLRA and ZFS storage solutions.

+ Define end-to-end architecture for Exadata infrastructure, covering compute, storage, networking, and backup.

+ Provide technical leadership for migration planning, performance optimization, and high-availability design.

+ Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure seamless integration.

+ Develop automation frameworks for provisioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

+ Troubleshoot complex issues across network, storage, and virtualization layers.

+ Ensure compliance with security, backup, and disaster recovery standards.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

+ 10+ years in Oracle technology with 8+ years focused on Exadata architecture.

+ Strong knowledge of:

+ Exadata components: Compute nodes, storage cells, InfiniBand/RoCE networking.

+ Virtualization technologies: KVM and Oracle VM.

+ ZDLRA (Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance) and ZFS Storage Appliance.

+ Proven experience in large-scale Exadata consolidation projects.

+ Expertise in capacity planning, performance tuning, and high-availability architecture.

+ Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, shell scripting, etc.).

+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
