Special Education Teacher – $55/hr – South Holland, IL – Part-Time (Virtual)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction for students in grades K–3. The teacher will work closely with classroom staff and paraprofessionals to support individualized learning in math and reading.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: South Holland, IL (Virtual)

+ Start Date: January 5, 2026

+ End Date: End of school year

+ Schedule: Approximately 20 hours/week (4 hours per day; exact schedule TBD)

+ Modality: Virtual

+ Pay Rate: $55/hr

+ Contract Length: 20 weeks

+ Caseload: 8 students (2 Kindergarten, 1 First Grade, 4 Second Grade, 1 Third Grade)

+ Duties: Special instruction, IEP goal development, collaboration with educational teams

Minimum Requirements:

+ Valid state teaching certificate with LBS1 endorsement

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)

+ Virtual teaching experience required

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening and health clearance

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
