Amentum is seeking a **Supervisor, Logistics Computer Ops** for **Creech Air Force Base.**
Purpose and Scope:
The Computer Operations Supervisor manages the day-to-day IT operations for the United States Air Force Logistics Division, ensuring all systems are operational, secure, and support mission-critical logistics functions. This role involves both technical expertise and leadership, overseeing a team of IT professionals to ensure that systems remain compliant with military protocols in a high-security environment.
Compensation & Benefits
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000.00-$100,000.00. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Essential Responsibilities:
+ Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of IT professionals, ensuring efficient operations, aligning tasks with departmental goals, and fostering a positive work environment.
+ Asset and Inventory Management: Oversee IT asset tracking and management, coordinate end-of-year ordering, audits, and acquisitions, and use CIPS for installing new equipment.
+ Document Management and Reporting: Maintain technical documentation, system updates, and generate weekly/monthly performance reports for senior management.
+ Preventive Maintenance and System Support: Supervise preventive maintenance, repairs, and firmware updates for IT equipment, ensuring optimal system functionality and minimizing downtime.
+ Operational Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for IT systems, including diagnosing and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network operations. Assist with troubleshooting CMOS issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
+ Logistics and Systems Integration Support: Ensure smooth integration of IT and logistics systems, act as a liaison between teams, and troubleshoot operational or technical issues affecting logistics systems and processes.
+ Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional responsibilities as required to support the team and organizational goals.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in computer operations.
+ Experience: At least 5-10 years of experience in IT operations with a proven track record of leading and managing a team. Experience should include supervising IT staff and overseeing technical operations, system troubleshooting, and hardware management.
+ Certifications: CompTIA Security+ certification or higher, required to obtain Client System Administrator rights. Other certifications, such as CompTIA A+, are preferred.
+ Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Air Force operational procedures and policies, including Air Force Manual AFMAN 23-122, Material Management, and AFMAN 17-1203. Strong technical knowledge in system administration, hardware diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
+ Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain a U.S. Government Secret-level security clearance.
+ Driver's License: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license.

+ Typical office environment with no unusual hazards.
+ Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
+ Constant sitting while using a computer terminal.
+ Frequent use of sight for reviewing documents and other visual tasks.
+ Constant use of speech and hearing for communication.
+ Must maintain constant mental alertness and focus.
+ Strong planning and organizing skills required.
+ Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
