Grade Level: High School
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Approx. 35 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Through 2026–2027 School Year (If a great fit!)
About the Role
Are you passionate about creating accessible learning environments and helping students reach their full potential? We’re seeking a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide high-quality instruction and support for high school students with visual impairments.
In this role, you will:
+ Design and implement individualized instructional programs.
+ Foster social, intellectual, and emotional growth.
+ Equip students with the skills and confidence to thrive academically and personally.

Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
+ Valid state teaching certificate with TVI Endorsement.
+ Prior experience teaching visually impaired students (preferred).
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable).
+ Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ideal Candidate
+ Holds a PEL with TVI Endorsement.
+ Experienced in teaching visually impaired students.
+ A team player who is flexible and adaptable.
