Detox/Opioid Outpatient LPN needed…

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Detox, Residential, and Ambulatory programs. As an LPN, you’ll play a vital role in patient recovery by administering medications, monitoring health status, and supporting our treatment team in providing safe, quality care.
What you’ll do:
+ Administer medications and injections under RN supervision
+ Monitor patient health, withdrawal symptoms, and vital signs
+ Support admissions, assessments, and discharge education
+ Collaborate with physicians and nurses on patient care plans
+ Document care accurately in EMR/EHR systems
What we’re looking for:
+ Current LPN license in the state of practice
+ CPR certification
+ At least 1 year of experience in substance abuse or mental health care
+ Strong communication, organizational, and crisis response skills
The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN isresponsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and thedelivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mentalhealth/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care incommunity settings.
The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a RegisteredNurse and in collaboration with the care team.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current LPN license in state of assignment
+ 1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
